The Conservative dilemma is how to promote the ideals of truth, beauty and goodness that have emerged from many of the greatest civilizations throughout world history. Western Civilization has the potential to spread peace and prosperity to the entire world once and for all.  The rule of law and the concomitant property rights have allowed Capitalism to flourish globally and make goods and services available in formerly remote places. The greater good it achieves is the elevation of the standard of living for all.

Change is accelerating from the plodding pace of Gutenberg to the light speed of Zuckerberg.  Our world is teetering on the fulcrum of digital bits.  The awesome lever of International Business is the greatest force for peace the world has ever known.  Just a few short years ago Red China was viewed as a grave threat to world peace.  Now they are viewed as the world’s greatest marketer of goods.  It was international business, not political or military organization that created this relative peace and stability.

Capitalists are mercilessly flogged with the stinging tentacles of sinful greed. The fair-mongers moan their sorrowful dirge about the greedy capitalist.  Atheistic progressives, who are disengaged with and unable to appreciate spiritual realities, misuse these sacred concepts to promote their agenda of the destruction of Capitalism.  Greed at a personal level is much different than greed on a corporal level.   While there are no doubt some unethical motivations at all levels, both personal and corporate capitalism, that is a cost of freedom of choice.  Unethical business choices eventually are addressed by a legal system.  The point is that the system enables a greater good to prevail.  The public flogging by the fair-mongers of cowering capitalists is relentless as the deceptive progressives assume they have the high ground to continue the stinging abuse.

The financial rewards of a job well done in the Capitalist realm, transform primitive greed into corporal incentive.  Recognition of the relative greater good is the message that should be propagated to shield the cowering capitalists.  The believers of the rule of law must defend the nobility of the capitalist system and fend off the tribalistic threats of violence and retribution of the leftists.

The mud slinging confrontations between liberal leftists and conservatives on the right are solidifying into an impenetrable wall of hatred.  The heat of anger is baking that mud so hard that the vehemently barked ideas are echoed back into the rabid animalistic expressions and there is no longer an exchange of ideas.   Insults like bigot and hater are hurled from the impervious wall of hatred as one side looks down on the other.

The liberal, progressive movement is delusional in believing that violent personal assault and property destruction is an acceptable way to realize their goals for society.  Reverend Martin Luther King is turning over in his grave.  The true essence of Christianity is love and forgiveness. He understood that Anglofricans had been afflicted by the self destructive forces of resentment and hatred. No true Christian leader would ever promote going down the path of self destructive ways.  Evil lurks just below the simmering surface of the “Social Justice” mantra.

Wealth redistribution, a basic tenent of Marxism, is disguised as “Income Equality” by progressives who would be more accurately described as deceptives.  Nothing in human existence satisfies like accomplishment.  The life of ease promoted by progressives as they pose as champions of the disadvantaged lethargic freeloaders does nothing to promote accomplishment of any good works or create anything for the greater good.

Resentment is the progressive pale that creeps in, like a dry ice fog in the black light, to smother the creative spark of innovation that makes life better for Western Civilization.  The predatory howl of reparations is raised, as the progressives drool over the carcass of capitalism they seek to devour in the darkness of destruction.

Capitalistic ways have not created the optimal greater good for all members of western civilization in the 20th and 21st centuries. A common perception is that the rich are the only people that benefit from capitalism.  That narrow minded point of view couldn’t be farther from the truth.  A more pervasive and far reaching result is the real benefits that accrue to the common individuals who lacked the foresight and motivation to innovate.  The invention of the railroads quickened the pace of commerce throughout the world and encouraged production and elevated the standard of living throughout the western world.

Creating new ways to make life better and more healthful are the fruits of capitalism.  The industrial revolution and the concomitant flourishing of the railroads created a way for the men of that time to provide stable domestic conditions for rearing children.  A more far reaching result of the industrial revolution was the growth of factories.  Despite some of the perceived injustices of the transition from horse powered farming to manufacturing, the eventual result was economic equality for women.  The opportunities that the equalizing power of capitalism created in the industrial civilizations of the western world give women a role in creating useful things for all to use for the advancing civilizations.  The tribal people of the parts of the world that have not evolved to a rule of law and a respect for property rights are male dominated.

No great civilization in the history of the world prior to the industrial revolution was built without the use of slavery.  The industrial nations of the western world are the first on earth to build great civilizations of culture and artistic expression with machines.  The machines made by industry have replaced the need for slavery and forever changed the historic equation, slavery=civilization.

Incentive has been quelled by the Fair-Mongers who promote a false equality among all men.  Browbeating the wealthy into believing they should give away their wealth to the disadvantaged of society does great harm to the common man because it subverts the natural evolution of advancement toward a greater good.  The misguided obsession for income equality and social justice has led to excessive  taxation of the super rich and has deprived humanity of the rewards of capitalism.  The pace of innovation is retarded by the bleeding off of accumulated wealth.  Those who have surplus wealth to gamble on a new idea provide a necessary and noble service to humanity.

Indolence is the most destructive disease of the decay of civilization.

New ideas and big changes are always hard for a large mass of a people to implement.  The Status quo is much easier to see than a new concept.    There are always those who are invested financially in the status quo and fight to maintain systems that are already in place.

Quo fighters inhibit productive changes in civilization due to self interest.  The union movement is one of the most organized ways for the quo fighter to  hold back innovation in business.  Productive change and new technology is discouraged due to fear of loss of jobs to a more efficient way of doing things.  Education of children has suffered from the short sighted efforts of selfish unionized teachers.

Institutions grow to a point where they reflect the collective self preservationist attitudes of the self serving members of the organization.  Educational institutions have learned how fragile the process of educating young children is.  Higher education has extensively studied the psychological aspects of the ideal learning environment for the fragile young mind.

Children are more often than not subjected to the gauntlet of the school bus as the first intimidating experience of schooling.  The fear of being tripped, poked, pushed or punched to a child in the budding moments of the institutional initiation, can grip the consciousness of a child so tightly that the tender intellect will not blossom and grow to it’s full magnificent potential.

Quo fighters make operational decisions based on efficiency and and fiscally responsible policies.  The institutions become a good place to work with a great retirement plan, and the kids will just have to learn to cope with their problems.

Fair-mongers have sought to end the accumulation of wealth for many decades in the western world.  The progressive movement of the late 19th century began the decline of the power of capitalism.  Since that time the pace of innovation has been hampered by the ignorant attitude of the fair-mongers.

The incentive to make vast amounts of money caused the big dreams of men like Cornelius Vanderbilt to do great things that changed the world.  The network of railroads was a greater good for the whole of the nation and the vast wealth that was gained by those who took the risk was the result.  The important aspect of the venture was the benefit for the good of the whole.  In order for that dynamic to benefit social evolution, the capitalist must be free to accumulate wealth.  To believe that it is somehow wrong to accumulate wealth is shortsighted and shows a lack of understanding of the power of incentive.

One of the manifestations of the fair-mongers is the union movement.  The unions have throughout the 20th century sapped the capital from the businesses they have attached themselves to.  This parasitic character has drained the capital from the carcass of capitalism.  The paralytic result has been the inability to innovate and a slow death of the corpus.

As a result we have been living with the same type of transportation that was created in the post civil war period.  Internal combustion engines and electrical communications are still the mainstay of civilization.  Where are the innovatitve new technologies?

Everything that exists in the universe evolves and changes. Things grow and then are destroyed by other forces, the leftover substance and energy contributing to the growth of something else. The unending process is powered by differences. Positive and negative particles make up the things that exist in time and space. Energy vibrates throughout everything that is, including mankind. If there were no differences nothing would exist and nothing would change.

Social evolution depends on innovation and forward thinking.  No positive change in the human condition would ever have occurred if not for insightful and persuasive leadership.  Generally accepted principles always inhibit change.  A majority of any population is naturally mentally disposed to be analytical of what is.  The minority of any given population is intuitively oriented to perceive the abstractness of what could be.  The analytics make things happen through innate qualities of attention to details, while the intuitive and adventurous dreamers promote untested new ideas.

 
Only differences between humans create action. The political position of the so called progressive movement in the USA uses fairness as a seemingly noble goal to appeal to an expanding segment of population that resents economic inequality. The current interpretation of the famous founding father who pronounced that all men are created equal is laughable. The undeniable reality is that some have more, and some do more with what little they have. Some are strong and some are weak. Some are quick and some are dull. Some love others and some hate all others. To suggest that mankind has evolved to a point where there should be no manifestations of accomplishment, for those who’ve put forth a focused effort to achieve a fruitful result and the rewards associated with that, is an ignorant point of view. Ignorance is merely the lack of knowledge.

Fairness is generally recognized in the Judeo>Christian civilizations as the best way to relate to others.  Primitive tribes of the past often simply took what they wanted from others and retribution was commonly a distorted concept of fairness.  Children, by trial and error, learn to literally cry out for fairness.  If they get what is wanted by crying fair, they will resort to that as often as a child who wants someone else’s candy. That infantile approach is motivated more by wantonness that fairness.  Either a parent or some authority often makes the point that life isn’t always fair.  Wise parenting often dictates that children not be given everything they want unless some effort  is made.  Fairness is in reality nothing more than a framework to encourage an effort to excel.

A  foot race has a framework of fairness.  Everyone starts at the same time and runs the same distance on a level playing field and the first to the finish wins the prized ribbon.  Is it fair that someone finishes in last place.  Although there may be momentary sadness for the one who is last, it is indeed fair.  The differences between competitors encourages hard work and elevates the qualities of all the competitors.

Physical competition eventually evolves into economic competition.  If you’re reading this you’re a member of the Human Race.  The competition is fierce.  There is a framework of laws  in civilization that insure fairness in the competition.  No social evolution would occur if there were no motivation for excellence.  Incentive to excel is the powerful force that propels the advance of civilization.  The future of mankind depends on the continued social evolution to an all pervasive altruistic civilization.

The Jewish rules for fairness leveled the playing field and the ten commandments gave the world a version of the framework for fairness.  The Jewish  adherence to fairness was enhanced by the altruistic teachings of Christ.  Altruism didn’t replace the rule of law.  The law is a necessary step in civilization building and all civilizations must stand on that foundation or they will crumble.  the fairness of foundational law of civilization building shouldn’t be confused with altruistic charity.

Christian altruism is not something that should be an exclusive practice of the winners of society.  The wealthy have always practiced some form of charity.  The true spirit of Christian charity and altruism will produce a pervasive selflessness practiced by all in the civilization including the poorest members.  Christian altruism is more meaningfully described as Brotherly Love. It is a demanding love that requires ones brother to help carry the load and to challenge a brother to excellence.   Only when everyone is selfless in attitude will there truly be a world of peace on earth goodwill toward men.   Altruism must be properly discerned and wisely used in order to preserve the balance of incentive.  One who gives away everything and leaves a family destitute has a distorted sense of altruism.

Those who want to take and redistribute the wealth which another person has legally gained, have a distorted sense of true fairness.  This confusion between fairness and altruism is destructive to civilization in that it subverts the powerful force of incentive in the name of a misunderstood and shortsighted understanding of fairness.  Some,  who bludgeon those accomplished and successful members of society with the dull weapon of the Fair-mongers, bleed civilization of life giving power that animates progress.

A case could be made that the industrial revolution was created by the reserve of knowledge that Gutenberg inspired.  The western world has a 300 year head start on technological innovation when compared with the Islamic world.  The Byzantine empire had banned the Gutenberg press for 300 years. The condemnation of western ways by the contemporary Islamic spokesmen doesn’t resonate well over communication channels created by the western civilizations. It is ironic that these backward and suppressed people use western technologies to improve their lives while at the same time, they condemn it.
